Position Overview

• Part-time 3 days per week is preferred, consideration will be given for 2 days per week.

• Remuneration: $325,000 TRP (inc super), full time equivalent. The REM will be pro-rata depending on the number of days pw.

• Highest authority of medical advice at FRV; strategic and technical adviser to FRV executive leadership team.

• Technical expertise regarding medical clinical governance, workers compensation and return to work practise.

• Responsibility for overseeing auditing of Cogent medical practices as per contract.

• Identifies and provivdes solutions to occupational risk, supported by occupational hygienists i.e. combustion toxicology

• Oversees medical incidents and ensures compliance with legislative responsibilities to eliminate and mitigate risks.

• Establishes standards of assessment regarding Recruitment and Fitness for duty (the assessments themselves are conducted externally).
